Telephoning the practice

The doctors will not routinely take telephone calls while consulting with other patients. You are welcome to leave a message with the receptionists which will be passed on to the doctor at the first available opportunity.

Results

It is not policy to contact patients with routine results. The doctors will generally advise you to make another appointment to discuss the results of tests ordered. It is always a good idea to contact the practice to find out if your results have come back if you are not able to attend in person. You will be put through to the Practice Nurse for results enquiries. While the nurse will be able to answer simple questions, detailed interpretations and advice still require an appointment with the dctor.
